Hello there!

Postby Marjoram on Sat Oct 17, 2015 4:18 am

Good afternoon from the Netherlands!

My name is Marjolein which roughly translates into Marjoram in English. I perform magic on my own and with my partner. I am working a day job as well. I am a bit scared to drop this and start working professionally as a magician, but I am looking into the possibilities. I am a member of NMU (http://www.denmu.nl) through the Dutch Magical Society. We meet monthly in the beautiful Magic Art Center, the small theater build by the late Richard Ross (http://www.totalmagic.nl/pages/en/magic ... hp?lang=EN)

Bizarre magic is the most beautiful form of magic to me. After all, what is a magic trick without a meaningful story and a good setting? We would call this just a trick, while I am looking for something where people would wonder: 'could it be true magic?'

I am hoping to meet new friends and be inspired to make my magic better and better...

Kind regards,
Marjoram

Marjolein,
Welcome to Wonderland, Narnia, and the tunnels of the Morlocks!
Just last night, I was reading about Richard Ross https://hocuspoc.files.wordpress.com/20 ... ss-lg1.jpg . Small world!

Greetings, Marjoram, and thanks for introducing yourself! I've never been to the Netherlands, but I hear it's a lovely place. You'll no doubt find kindred spirits here in our weird little corner of the Internet. I hope we'll get to know more about you as you settle in here. Have fun exploring the site!

Hi

I too, have never been to the land of blue eyed blondes but I want to go there and pick out an assistant or two!
Girls with accents drive me crazy.

Anyways to get back on topic... Welcome to the Zoo. Don't make any sudden movements and talk quietly as some of the residents are a little sketchy. =P

Welcom Marjolein. Je hebt een buitengewone huis voor bizarra magie ingevoerd. Kijk uitnaar het delen van ideen.
