Yup.

And apparently it's such an awesome holiday, I was compelled to double post about it.... stoopid coffee shop internet connection....

We are keeping it low key this year for a rare Halloween night at home. Old horror movie marathon date night. How are you guys spending my favorite holiday?

Me too :D Handing out candy to anyone willing to ring the doorbell over all the rats and tombstones... oh, and making myself ill (again) trying to decide which I like better, Baby Ruths or Snickers... hum, Baby Ruth? probably, but better try another Snickers to be sure...

I'm driving up to San Simeon, bypassing the alarms, breaking in, and putting timed sound devices in planters and behind paintings.
The usual.

Dude, after what happened last year, I assumed you'd have thought twice.

I spent a few minutes this afternoon dragging out storage boxes and cobbling together a quick doorstep Halloween decoration. I pulled out a few mice, a rat, a wreath, a couple of painted stryrofoam tombstones, and cobwebs/two spiders; I left the skulls, blood and other creepy/disturbing stuff in the boxes. According to their (laughing) parents, I still managed to creep out a few kids-- not my intent and not sure why that should be considering that they weren't tiny tots. Anyway, interesting... less is more? or just different from most?

...tried to attach a photo, but it won't upload-- probably too big. Eh, yer not missing much-- it was a fairly sparse display.

Happy, happy Halloween! (and Magus, if the bail is any higher this time, you'll have to ask someone else)

Totally worth it, before it all went south (not your fault, I know).

fairly successful--900 kids and a goodly number of parents. 100% rain forecast took the trick-or-treat out of the 2-block downtown to a community center. I did announcements and costume commentary 6:30-8:00. Rain started at 8:01. After, took card and wife to Italian restaurant. Fun.

When we walked out of our home to go do the last few shows of Haunting History, we walked into a snowstorm. Yes, snow, blowing straight into our eyes. On Halloween. It was craaaazy.

And over here in the UK, David, it was the hottest Halloween ever. We managed to create a few scares using lanterns, skulls, dummies and a teenage lumbering Zombie
